🌿 Description:
🦐 Orange Eye Green Demon Neocaridina – Extremely Rare Line
Introducing one of the rarest and most visually stunning Neocaridina shrimp: the Orange Eye Green Demon. With a deep, metallic emerald body and glowing orange eyes, these shrimp are a genetic marvel. This is not a painted green line—this is a refined mutation with clear eye inheritance, traced back to high-end OE breeders in Europe.
You won’t find these in big box stores or most Canadian shrimp shops. This is a true collector's shrimp bred specifically for trait stability and lineage purity.
✨ Why They Stand Out:
💚 Green body with contrasting orange eyes
🔥 Rare and stable orange eye gene in Neocaridina (non-Caridina)
🇨🇦 Almost unheard of in Canada — nearly all OE Green lines are held by private breeders
🧬 100% of juveniles have orange eyes and carry the gene
🔁 Compatible with other OE lines for color breeding projects
✅ Just as hardy and beginner-friendly as other Neos
🧪 Size:
Juvenile size shipped: 1.27 – 2.0 cm (0.5 – 0.8 inch)
Max size: ~2.5 cm (1 inch)
🛑 LIMITED AVAILABILITY – Serious Breeders Only
These are held back for personal breeding projects, but I'm releasing a small number (10–20) to committed breeders looking to work with OE genetics.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
🦐 Are your shrimp safe for beginners?
Yes! Many of our shrimp species—especially Neocaridina like Cherry Shrimp—are great for beginners due to their hardiness. For Caridina shrimp, we recommend stable parameters and soft water setups.
📦 Do you offer a live arrival guarantee?
Yes, we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all shrimp orders. If your shrimp arrive dead, just send us clear photos within 2 hours of delivery and we’ll issue a refund or replacement. (Depending on the shipping method either 50% or 100% will be refunded)
🌡️ Do you include heat packs during winter?
Yes! If weather falls below 15C we strongly suggest adding one from our store. We also monitor weather forecasts and may delay your order if temperatures are too extreme for safe delivery.
🇨🇦 Do you import your shrimp or breed them in Canada?
We do both. We breed select lines locally here in Canada and also import from trusted international farms. All imported shrimp are quarantined for 1–2 months before being listed for sale. This ensures they're fully adjusted, healthy, and hardy for your aquarium.
🧼 Are the shrimp quarantined or treated before shipping?
Yes. Whether imported or locally bred, all shrimp are quarantined for a minimum of 1–2 months. We monitor for parasites, stress, molting, and coloration to ensure only the healthiest shrimp are sent to you.
🚚 How long does shipping take within Canada?
We ship from Quebec using trusted carriers. Most orders arrive within 1–2 business days, depending on your location. Tracking info will be emailed once your order is shipped.
💧 How should I acclimate my shrimp after delivery?
We recommend using the drip acclimation method over 1–2 hours to gradually adjust your shrimp to your tank's parameters. A step-by-step guide is included with every order.
